Inland Fisheries staff at the Great Lakes Indian Fish and Wildlife Commission conduct numerous fisheries surveys in the ceded territories of Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.  GLIFWC's fisheries assessment crews typically conduct 15 to 20 spawning adult walleye population estimates every spring, and around 100 to 150 walleye recruitment surveys every fall.  Please contact Inland Fisheries Section Leader Joe Dan Rose, Wisconsin/Michigan Inland Fisheries Biologist Mark Luehring, or Minnesota Inland Fisheries Biologist Nick Milroy with questions regarding the data.

The Inland Fisheries Assessment Reports, Wisconsin Open Water Spearing Reports, and Minnesota Open Water Spearing Reports are available from the Reports page.
